Transport
Parking is limited within the National Park, so to ensure a stress free and environmentally friendly experience, please consider car pooling or using our free local bus service with connections to public transport.
Please ensure you arrive AT LEAST 45 MINUTES before the start time of the wave you have chosen.
Car – There is all day parking along Middle Head Road, parking spaces at George’s Heights Oval and there is limited metered parking at Middle Head – Sydney Harbour National Park.
By Ferry – The ferries commence from Circular Quay, Wharf 2 from
9:00am, arriving at Taronga Zoo Wharf. Sydney Skinny buses will be on rotation between the Taronga Zoo Wharf, Mosman Junction and Middle Head
until 2:00pm. This ferry route is known as the F2 route – see Transport NSW for more information
Free Shuttle Bus – All ticket holders will have access to The Sydney Skinny free shuttle busses that run continuously on the day between 8:00am and 1:00pm. There are two circuits:
1. Taronga Zoo Wharf, Bradley’s Head Road – Middle Head – Sydney Harbour National Park
This is a 20-minute trip that will operate between Taronga Zoo Wharf and Middle Head – Sydney Harbour National Park, before completing a return loop. Below are the list of the bus stops the shuttle will make:

- Bradleys Head Rd near Thompson St
- Bradleys Head Rd near Queen St
- Middle Head Rd near Kahibah Rd
- Middle Head Rd near Cobbittee St
- Middle Head Rd near Chowder Bay Rd

- Middle Head Rd near Cobbittee St
- Middle Head Rd opposite Gordon St
- Bradleys Head Rd near Thompson St
- Athol St near Ferry Wharf
2. Mosman Junction – Middle Head – Sydney Harbour National Park
This is a 10-minute trip that will operate between Mosman Junction Roundabout and Middle Head – Sydney Harbour National Park, before completing a return loop. Below are the list of stops the bus will make:

Simply print out your ticket and show the bus driver on the day.
Bus – There a several bus routes that travel from Sydney CBD, North Sydney & Northern Beaches. The only bus route that goes directly into the National Park is bus 244 City – Chowder Bay. From that bus stop you walk approximately 120m to the end of Middle Head Road (further into the National Park) where you will see the event entry area.
Check time with Sydney Buses prior to event day to avoid disappointment.
Train – The closest train stations to the Mosman area is Milsons’ Point Station, and trains run regularly to and from Central Station.
